Documents processed in your browser
Most tools open and process your file entirely on your device using your browser. Those documents are never transmitted to us, and we therefore never store or see them.
Documents processed on the server
Tools that require a rendering, recognition or conversion engine upload your file over an encrypted HTTPS connection. The file is stored under a randomly generated identifier, is not reachable through a guessable public URL, and is deleted automatically once the job finishes or the retention window expires.
You can request immediate deletion at any time.
Data we collect
Aggregate, non-identifying usage counts to understand which tools are used.
